What has become the event of the Halloween season, the City of Tama-sponsored 4th annual Haunted Hayride Around Cherry Lake is on for this Saturday night, Oct. 22. The Trick or Treat Trail sponsored by the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce for ages up to 12 and a Tama County Humane Society chili supper are scheduled before the event.

The rides and trail events are free and a free-will offering will be collected to support the Humane society.

All the fun is at the Tama Civic Center, 305 Siegel, in downtown Tama.

Organizers promise it will be a scary night for all those who dare to take the ride aboard the hayracks which depart from the south side fire station.
