First grader Dominic Waseskuk and Jorene (Jo) Vavra, an education aide at the South Tama Elementary School compare their “Super” shirts just before classes began for the 2016-17 school year at the elementary in Tama. South Tama staff members sported the shirts to welcome students back to class and introduce the Positive Behavior In School?theme for this year- “STC – Super Terrific Children. “

Students earn recognition through the school year for their postive actions and when they accumulate enough, they are awarded a South Tama T-shirt.

When all students have qualified, a school-wide recognition contest for Positive Behavior In School continues the theme.
