Toledo American Legion Post 72 member Pat Johnson raises the U.S. Flag during opening day ceremonies at the South Tama Elementary School in Tama. Students and staff joined in the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing the National Anthem. The Legion Color guard made up of Elizabeth Ledvina, commander and Tama County Veterans Affairs director, Martin Christensen, Don Havran, Bruce McEltree, Laywin Leek and SAL member Byron Witt also took part.
