CORRECTION- The arrest of Jeremy Michael Rayman, 35, rural Chelsea was incorrectly reported in the June 24 Tama News-Herald. Rayman was cited on June 5 at 4:05 p.m. for violation of conditions of pre-trial release by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office not for 1st offense drunken driving, operating a non-registered vehicle nor violation of insurance vehicle requirements.

On June 5, at 4:26 p.m., Yasin Mohamud Abu, 28, Toledo, was charged in the 100 block of East High Street with 1st offense drunken driving, operating a non-registered vehicle and violation of insurance vehicle requirements by Toledo Police.

June 18

12:50 p.m.- Larry James Sandford Jr., 47, Cedar Rapids, arrested at the Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids, on a charge of assault causing bodily injury and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released June 20 at 11:35 a.m. after posting bond with the Clerk of Court.

June 21

10:40 a.m.- Adriana Bernice Herrera, 29, Tama, arrested in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue on a charge of 5th degree theft by Toledo Police.
