DES MOINES – The LifeServe Blood Center recognizes the wonderful blood donors who volunteered their time to make a life-saving blood donation at the recent Tama and Toledo Communities blood drive.

A total of 20 people registered to donate blood and 23 units of blood were collected at this blood drive.

A special thanks also goes out to Bob Benda and Knights of Columbus for helping to organize and sponsor this blood drive. Committed volunteers are key to maintaining the blood supply in our local community.
