Independence Day fireworks displays are planned for Sunday night, July 3, at the outdoor arena area at the Meskwaki Bingo CasinoHotel four miles west of Toledo on the U.S. 30 Expressway.

On July 4, the Tama-Toledo fireworks will be at the Toledo City Park on West Ross Street. Fire Chief Greg Johnson cautioned last week the fireworks are subject to weather conditions.

The display is sponsored by the cities of Toledo and Tama, and area businesses and individuals.

Pyrotechnics are by the Toledo Fire Dept.

Both events are set to begin at dusk.
