More volunteers needed for Tama Ambulance Service

An appeal last week for more volunteers to join the Tama Ambulance Service has resulted in four applications picked up, so far, according to City Clerk Judy Welch.

Two of the applications have already been turned in, she said.

The transport service, which responded to nearly 700 calls for service, is down to 22 active volunteers to fill 45 weekly time slots.
