VIEW VIDEO CLIP OF THE VIGIL: www.youtube.com/edit?video_id=W4Wfedtu9mQ&feature=em-upload_ownerOn Wednesday, June 15, approximately 50 people gathered for a prayer vigil to remember the victims of the Orlando shooting. The prayer vigil was held on the lawn of the Tama County Courthouse.

During the vigil the names of the 49 victims were read aloud along with their ages, messages were written on the sidewalks using chalk and prayer was offered. The group also gathered to sing songs together and the vigil closed with rainbow colored balloons being released into the sky.
