May 15

2:40 a.m.- Alexander Luis Oaxacha, 18, Tama, arrested at South County Road and Myrtle Street on charges of 1st offense drunken driving, driving or towing an unsafe vehicle and operating without registration by Toledo police. released at 1 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

7:08 p.m.- Ismael Ruiz-Zamorano, 39, Tama, arrested in the 800 block of East 4th Street on a charge of forgery by Tama Police.

May 18

4:34 a.m.- Monroe Ian Wanatee, 22, rural Tama, arrested at Cissy’s LeGrand, on two warrants by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on May 19 at 9:45 a..m. after pleading guilty.

4:40 p.m.- Beverly Mae Putter, 60, Tama, arrested at Covenant Emergency Room, Waterloo, on a charge of contempt of court by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

9:18 p.m.- Joseph Alexander Gilchrist, 27, Cedar Rapids, arrested at the Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

May 19

1:14 a.m.- Phoebe Blanche Kapayou, 22, rural Tama, arrested at Cissy’s, LeGrand, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

10:125 p.m.- Christian Thomas Arp, 25, Toledo, arrested in the 100 block of North Main on five controlled substance violations by Toledo Police.

May 20

1:31 p.m.- Ashley Ruth Johnson, 33, rural Toledo, arrested in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 30, Tama, on charges of driving while license suspended, operation without registration and vehicle insurance violation by the Iowa State Patrol.

5:42 p.m.- Charles Bennett Huffman, 36, Clutier, arrested in the 300 block of 3rd Street, Clutier, on charges of domestic abuse assault – impeding airway or blood flow, assault causing bodily injury and child endangerment- bodily injury by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

8:05 p.m.- Amber Jo Purk, 35, Tama, arrested at a location not on the Press Arrest Log on a warrant for failure to appear by Tama Police.

May 21

11:27 a.m.- Trudi Ann Mathes, 33, rural Tama, arrested at West 3rd and McClellan streets on two counts of violation of terms of pre-trial release by Tama Police. Released on May 26 at 4:02 p.m. on surety bond.

10:40 p.m.- Thomas Eugene Schons Jr., 41, Cedar Falls, arrested at the Benton County Jail, Vinton, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

10:47 p.m.- John Wayne Dvorak, 33, Garwin, arrested at U.S. Highway 30 at MM Avenue, rural Toledo, on a charge of 1st offense drunken driving by Toleod Police. Released on May 22 at 11:40 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

May 23

5:28 a.m.- Stevie Ray Youngbear, 25, rural Tama, arrested at U.S. 30 Expressway at H Avenue on charges of 2nd offense drunken driving, driving while license suspendedm speeding and vehicle insurance violation by Toeldo Police. Released at 6:30 p.m. after posting bond with the Clerk of Court.

5 p.m.- Onyale Vantress Hughes, 43, Cedar Rapids, arrested at the Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

11:16 p.m.- Dekota James Sprague, 37, Cedar Rapids, arrested at U.S. Highway 30 at X Avenue, rural Elberon, on two charges of driving while license suspended and one count of vehicle insurance violation by the Iowa State Patrol. Released on May 24 at 10:05 p.m. after pleading guilty.
