The South Tama Recreation Trail planting spots all had mulch added recently. Tim and Pat Downs and Maureen and Jake Jacobsen did the work with the help of equipment supplied by Kendall Jordan and Les Koch. The 6.2-mile walking and bicycle trail running from near the Toledo City Park southward to Tama, around Cherry Lake and onto the Corps of Engineers Dike is ready for summer.
