Due to problems with people who cannot distinguish brush from trash, the city brush pile will be open only during city work hours, Toledo Mayor Dave Svoboda said in an announcement.

It noted, “If this does not fix the problem, then it will be locked at all times. This brush pile is there as a convenience to the residents of Toledo for brush and leaves. Other wise the county landfill is available.”

“It’s too bad some have to ruin it for all,” commented Mayor Svoboda. He invites anyone with a problem with this restriction to contact him.
