Melanie Alonso (5th)

Melanie Alonso is a student of the month for April. Melanie has five siblings. She jumps on her trampoline during her free time. She describes herself as nice. Her two best characteristics are being good at math. Her advice for classmates is to do your homework.

Maddie Graff (5th)

Madelyn Graff was a student of the month at South Tama Middle School for April. She is 11 years old and in 5th grade. Her parents are Andrea Graff and Curt Graff. Madelyn also has a sister named Jaden Graff and a dog named Brady. She also participates in volleyball. Madelyn describes herself as laughable and nice. She said her three best characteristics are that she’s nice, respectful, and talkative. Her advice for her fellow students is to work hard and treat your teachers with respect.

Eric Henry (6th)

Congratulations to Eric Henry for getting the student of the month award for April! Eric is in 6th grade and he is 11 years old. He has 30 dogs and 15 rabbits. He also has one brother named Michael and his parents are named Patrick and Holly Henry. His hobbies are playing baseball and basketball. He describes himself as awesome, smart, active, and funny. He is kind, nice, and respectful. His advice to classmates is not to sass the teacher and be nice. Again congratulations to Eric Henry for getting the student of the month award.

Neena Lasley (6th)

Neena Lasley is in 6th grade and is the daughter of Tyler and Nahmi Lasley. She has four siblings named Triston, Nate, Tyrin, and Tess. She also has a pet guinea pig named Eric. Her hobbies are dancing and going to powwows. She describes herself as outgoing. Her characteristics are funny, fun, and kind. Her advice is to focus on your work.

Jordyn Cremeans (7th)

Jordyn Cremeans was student of the month for April. She is the daughter of Trudy, Brian, Jeremy, and Crystal. Her sister is Jenna. Her hobbies are softball and tumbling. She describes herself as shy, nice, and funny. Her three best characteristics are nice, funny, and sporty. Her advice is for her classmates are don’t do drugs.

Morgan Haughey (7th)

Morgan Haughey has earned Student of the Month for April! She is part of a family of five, Aaron, Lesa, Adam, and Brycelyn. Her hobbies are basketball, softball, tennis, track, volleyball, and archery. Morgan describes herself as energetic. Her characteristics are smart, funny, and active. Her advice is to stay in school.

Kathy Kofstad (8th)

Kathy Kofstad is 14 and in 8th grade. She has one little brother in 4th grade. She has nine snakes, four lizards, three dogs and one turtle. She plays softball. She describes herself as a decent person. She says she is funny, kind, and intelligent. Advice she has for her classmates is to stay in school and don’t do drugs.

Kaisha Struve (8th)

Congratulations to Kaisha Struve for getting student of the month for April. Kaisha is in 8th grade and is 14 years old. Her family members are Shannon Dobbs (mom), Keagan Dobbs (sister), Kenzen Dobbs (brother), Kailyn Struve (brother), and Kelbie Struve (brother). Her hobbies are basketball, volleyball, and track. She describes herself as a nice person. She says her three best characteristics are her hair, eyes, and height. Her advice is to stay in school because it’s fun.
