Tama Co. Historic Preservation Commission meeting- May 17 – 6 p.m.- Reinig-Toledo Civic Center. 1007 S. Prospect Dr.

After the Tama Co. Historic Preservation Commission filed its annual report with the State, it was notified that a number of issues must be addressed in 2016 if Tama County wishes to remain a Certified Local Government. At the upcoming May 17, meeting there will be a discussion on what the next steps should be.

Participation in the group has been declining so we are recruiting additional members. It is important that you attend this meeting and/or recommend someone from your community that you feel would be interested and have time to commit to historic preservation.
