The annual Spring Clean Up in Toledo is this Friday, April 15. While the IRS?”cleans” your wallet on the final day for federal tax filing, the Toledo city crews will “clean up” your items left at curbside for free.

Residents are reminded to sort like items together in piles or containers. Appliances and electronics require a $10 tag available until April 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Clerk’s Office, 103 S. Church St.

Prohibited items include garbage, yard waste, tires, construction project materials, paint cans, batteries and liquids.

Brush and branches will be picked up on April 22.

The Tama-Toledo City-Wide Garage Sales will be on May 5 and 6.
