11:15 p.m.- Hayzel Yazel Acevedo, 23, Tama, arrested at East 5th and Hall streets on charges of 1st offense drunken driving and failure to maintain control of vehicle by Toledo Police and charges of assault causing bodily injury, public intoxication and disorderly conduct by Tama Police. Released at 1:40 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Feb. 23

6:58 p.m.- Lucas Scott Jensen, 18, Traer, arrested in the 600 block of Westview Drive, Traer, on charges of 1st offense drunken driving, failure to maintain control of vehicle driving without a license. vehicle insurance violation – accident and on four warrants by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Feb. 24 at 10:20 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

10:23 p.m.- Carol Marie Walker, 28, Tama, arrested in the 100 block of East 3rd Street on a charge of disorderly conduct by Tama Police. Released on Feb. 24 at 10:10 a.m. after pleading guilty.

10:50 p.m.- Jimmie Hawthorne Jr., 48, Tama, arrested in the 100 block of East 5th Street on a charge of disorderly conduct by Tama Police. Released on Feb. 24 at 12:46 a.m. after posting cash bond.

Feb. 24

3:55 a.m.- Kenneth Floyd Ziegler Jr., 55, Monona, Wisc., arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession drug paraphernalia by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on Feb. 24 at 10:10 a.m. after pleading guilty.

4:02 p.m.- Christian Thomas Arp, 25, Toledo, arrested in the 100 block of East High Street on a warrant for failure to appear by the Department of Correctional Services. Released on Feb. 25 at noon on a promise to appear.

4:31 p.m.- Lance Mandell Walker, 36, rural Tama, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, on a charge of 3rd degree sexual abuse and on a warrant by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.
