Here are the STC High School winners for the month of February. The committee has now decided to recognize 4 students instead of 2 for the rest of the year so that we can recognize more students.

Tieranny Keahna, 12th grade

Parents: Verlyn & Marsha Keahna

Activities Involved In: Basketball, Track, National Honor Society, TRIO, Prom Committee, and Pride Club

Tierranny’s teachers said about her: “She works with everyone and she has a way of supporting others without making them feel like they know less or are less than her. She is always ready and never needs a reminder to turn in an assignment. She is determined and doesn’t give up when she finds a challenge.”

Ryan Roberts,

12th grade

Parents: Dana Davenport & Ryan Roberts

Activities Involved In: Football Cheerleading, Basketball, Tennis, Pride Club, Spring Play, and Large Group Speech

Ryan’s teachers said about her: “She is always respectful, and works hard on and off the court. She listens to instructions or criticism without getting mad. She also volunteers with younger students at the elementary, so she is willing to sacrifice her time to help others. “

McKenna Knock,

11th grade

Parents: Craig & Pam Knock

Activities Involved In: Volleyball, Softball, Large & Individual Speech, Spring Play, Thespian, National Honor Society, and Prom Committee

McKenna’s teacher said about her: “McKenna’s is a leader at STC High School and she wants to make our school a welcoming and positive place for students. She is involved in a lot of activities but continues to have very good grades.”

Kaylee’s teachers said about her: “She does not let her disability of being deaf slow her down. She has great grades and is always prepared for class ready for success. She is very kind to fellow students and is willing to help any way she can.”
