Dec. 22

2:30 pm.- Bryana Lynn Chizek, 23, Tama, arrested in the 2000 block of 245th Street, rural Toledo, on a charge of simple domestic abuse assault by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Dec. 23 at 11:10 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

4:50 p.m.- Jenna Leanne McClintock, 28, Cedar Rapids, arrested at the Benton County Jail, Vinton, on a charge of violation of terms of pre-trial release by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

10:55 p.m.- Brittany Ann Sells, 26, Garwin, arrested in the 200 block of Main Street, Garwin, on a charge of contempt of court by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Dec. 25 at 1:30 p.m. on court order.

Dec. 23

1:01 a.m.- Martia Stanisha Wise, 25, Waterloo, arrested at an un-noted location on charges of 1st offense drunken driving, speeding, vehicle insurance violation and on a warrant by the Iowa State Patrol.

2:20 p.m.- Amber Jo Purk, 35, Tama, arrested in the 300 block of West 2nd avenue on a charge of 5th degree theft by Toledo Police. Released on Dec. 24 at 11:12 a.m. after pleading guilty.

Dec. 24

7:24 a.m.- Carlos Jefferson, 34, Toledo, arrested in the 600 block of South Church Street on a charge of violation of a no contact / protective order by Toledo Police. Released at 11:05 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

11:57 a.m.- Toby John Jacobi, 50, rural Chelsea arrested in the 100 block of East Carleton Street on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by Toledo Police.

10:05 p.m.- Shewit H. Berhe, 31, Tama, arrested in the 100 block of Business Highway 30 West on a charge of 2nd offense public intoxication by Toledo Police.

Dec. 26

4:45 a.m.- Mani Don Samountry, 60, Des Moines, arrested in the1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge of 5th degree theft by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.
