The deadline to submit grant applications to the Tama County Community Foundation 2016 grant cycle is midnight (CST) Jan. 15, 2016. The online grant application and grant guidelines may be found on the Community Foundation’s website at www.tamaccf.org.

Grants are awarded to nonprofit and government entity projects impacting Tama County in the areas of art and culture, community betterment, education, environment, health, historic preservation and human service.

Grant recipients will be announced in March 2016.

First-time grant applicants should contact Dotti Thompson, Program Manager, at (319) 287-9106 ext. 18 prior to submitting an application. Grant applicants must be a 501(c)(3) designated organization (or government entity) serving Tama County in order to be considered for funding.
