6:58 p.m.- Jonathan Thomas Cowles, 26, Toledo arrested in the 1000 block of S. Prospect Drive on two warrants for violation of terms of probation and two warrants for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Shipped out on Oct. 23 at 2:45 p.m.

Oct. 22

1:30 a.m.- Joshua Robert Smith, 25, Des Moines, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge of violation of a no contact / protective order by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 3:15 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

7:06 a.m.- Ronda Kay Davis, 55, Quarry, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. released at 10:50 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

10:38 a.m.- Joseph Alexander Gilchrist, 27, rural Toledo, arrested in the 2800 block of C Avenue, rural Garwin, on charges of 3rd degree burglary, 2nd degree criminal mischief, assault while participating in a felony, 2nd degree theft and assault by use / display of a weapon by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

5:15 p.m.- Keena Clay Akeens, 34, rural Tama, arrested in the 1400 block of Meskwaki Road on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Sentenced and released on Oct. 23 at 11:35 a.m.
