I knew early in the fall one of my greatgrandsons was going to be a father. We followed the baby’s progress on Facebook and everything was fine. At Thanksgiving another of mygreatgrandsons informed me he was going to be a father.

LoganEugene Buchanan born Dec. 9, 2014, lives in Marshalltown with his parents, Jace and Kelsey. His grandmother is Rosanna Buchanan, rural Tama.

Kaden Daniel Valdez born Jan. 9, 2015, lives in Fort Madison with his parents, Kieran and Juliet. His grandmother is Aimee Valdez.

Aimee and Rosanna are the daughters of Lorena Hefflon, rural Tama.

Lorena is the daughter of Elaine Ferneau of Tama, making her a great-greatgrandmother.
