Two incumbents and one new office seeker will run without opposition with their names on the ballot for the three open seats on the South Tama School Board in the Oct. 6 regular school election.

Incumbents Mark McFate, 2nd District and Jackie Dvorak, 5th District, are joined by Penny Tyynismaa, Tama, 3rd District candidate.

Tyynismaa is seeking the seat currently held by Anne Michael, Tama, who is not seeking reelection to a third term.

At the time of this post it was possible for a last-minute filing – watch for any update.
