July 2

2:48 a.m.- Donald Wellington Wanatee Jr., 33, rural Tama, arrested in the 400 block of State Street on charges of 2nd offense drunken driving, possession of marijuana – 3rd or subsequent offense and driving without a license by Tama Police.

4:04 a.m.- Alex Anya, 24, Tama, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on charges of possession of controlled substance – 3rd or subsequent offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and providing false identification by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

Noon- Jenna Lee Paulsen, 25, Cedar Rapids, arrested at the Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

6:51 p.m.- Nathan Dean Greenfield, 29, Toledo, arrested in the 100 block of South Broadway on a charge of domestic abuse assault with injury by Toledo Police. Released on July 11 at 10:45 a.m. on surety bond.

7:54 p.m.- Cori Michelle Benson, 27, Ft.. Dodge, arrested at the Webster County Jail, Ft. Dodge, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Sentenced and released on July 10.

July 3

6:57 p.m.- Kevin James Nagel, 45, Grinnell, arrested in the 3200 block of H Avenue, rural Tama, on a charge of assault causing bodily injury by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

July 4

6:43 a.m.- Bruce Robert Smith, 56, Livonia, Mo., arrested as a material witness and on a warrant in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Transferred on July 6 at 11:05 a.m.
