Local Boy Scout Troop 391 needs your help and so do thousands of families in need in our communities.

Our scouts are participating in the Inaugural Good Turn for Goodwill this spring. The 2015 Good Turn will take place on two consecutive Saturdays. On Saturday, April 18, Scouts will place bags and literature throughout the local area and all across the 27 counties in Mid-Iowa Council.

The following Saturday, April 25, Scouts will return to collect the donated items from their assigned territory. Donations collected will be distributed through local Goodwill Industries facilities and stores.

This year items being focused on in the collection are: clothing and small household goods. Please be sure to look for your Good Turn for Goodwill bag and flyer on April 18 and make plans to place your donated items on the curb by 9 a.m. the following Saturday, April 25. If we happen to miss your pickup the Goodwill truck will be located in the Shopco parking lot on April 25 from 10 a.m. 3 p.m.
