Toledo All-Class Reunion July planning developing

The second Wednesday of February found 14 hearty souls gathered together at the State Bank of Toledo Community Room doing their best to plan, promote, and develop the 2015 Toledo All-Class Reunion scheduled for next July 10 and 11.

The weather was frightful, which probably was the prime reason we had only about half our usual turnout of dedicated Toledo High School graduates in attendance. This includes two individuals that had not attended a previous planning session-my hat is off to them and hopefully they will Join us for the next meeting which will be April 8 (no meeting scheduled for March).

A total of 660 letters were sent out with only a handful being undeliverable. In 2010, we had 236 graduates in attendance with a total of 350 persons total at the Saturday evening event.

Saturday morning tours through the remodeled Wieting Theatre and visitations arranged for the Library and Museum were noted. A youth group has been arranged for to assist people with canes, walkers, and other needs in getting their dinner selections to their particular table. Decorations were briefly mentioned with hopes ideas can be further developed at the April meeting.

Use of round tables or rectangular tables were discussed for the Saturday evening banquet, with a further decision depending on the number of available round tables and the number of likely grads planning on attending. Please mark your calendars for April 8, May 13, and June 10 for upcoming planning sessions, all to be held at 1:30 p.m. at the State Bank of Toledo Community Room.

Please come and share your thoughts ideas with us-we need your input. One of the current areas we need additional input is what type and how much entertainment would the majority prefer. Hope to see you at the next one-
