South Tama High School would like to present four students that have demonstrated being respectful, responsible, ready, and successful. McKenna Knock, Evelyn Nunez, Megan Mann, and Talon Lamb are the students of the month for January.

Sophomore, McKenna Knock is the daughter of Craig and Pam Knock. She is involved in ALL4ONE, Blue Crew, Large Group Speech, Individual Speech, volleyball, track, softball, and student council. Her advice to other students is to just be nice.

Junior, Evelyn Nunez is the daughter of Odilon and Audenia Nunez. She is involved in Individual Speech. After high school she plans on attending a 4 year university.

Junior, Megan Mann is the daughter of Larry and Marie Mann. She is involved in tennis, prom committee, and National Honor Society. After high school she plans on attending a 4 year university for psychology or a health related field. Her advice to other students is to try to be a good person, even when people aren’t looking. That’s when it matters most.

Senior, Talon Lamb is the son of Matt and Darcy Lamb. He is involved in concert band, pep band, jazz band, choir, Harding Street, National Honor Society, Thespian Society, Individual Speech, and Large Group Speech. His future plans include going to UNI to major in Music Tech. His advice to other students is to try not to procrastinate too much.
