8:29 a.m.- Ronald Alan Roop, 37, Grinnell, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, on a charge of 4th degree theft and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

6:45 p.m.- Jalynn Josie Bear, 18, rural Tama, arrested at the Meskwaki High School on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 14 at 10:10 a.m. after pleading guilty.

11:34 a.m.- Justin Lynn Wisner, 39, no address listed in Press Arrest Log, arrested at 1504 305th St., Tama, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 3:15 p.m. on surety bond.

5:29 p.m.- David Dean Welshans, 42, Toledo,

arrested in the 500 block of South Willow Street on a warrant by Toledo Police.

7:53 p.m.- Michael John Mills, 50, Garwin, arrested in the 200 block of Anna street, Garwin, on charges of simple domestic abuse assault and simple assault by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 15 at 6:25 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Jan. 15

3:02 a.m.- Miguel Angel Salgado, 22, Grinnell, arrested at 100 N. Main, Toledo, on a charge of 4th degree theft by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

3:31 a.m.- Miguel Angel Salgado, 22, Grinnell, arrested at the Poweshiek County Jail, Montezuma, on two warrants for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

10:30 a.m.- Jonathan Thomas Cowles, 25, Toledo, arrested at 100 N. Main, Toledo, on a charge of domestic abuse assault with injury by Toledo Police and three warrants for failure to appear and a fourth warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

1:34 p.m.- Billy Wayne Fowler, 51, Traer, arrested in court on a charge of violation of conditions of pre-trial release by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 22 at 3:30 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

4:15 p.m.- Seger Tyrone Brown, 36, Matherville, Ill., arrested at the Polk County Jail, Des Moines, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.
