1:57 a.m.- Dallas Ray Poweshiek, 55, rural Montour, arrested at State and Harmon streets, Tama, on a charge of public intoxication, 3rd or subsequent offense, by Tama Police. Released on Jan. 8 at 5:50 p.m. on surety bond.

10:21 p.m.- Wade Tanner Moeller, 22, Marshalltown, arrested in the 100 block of West 2nd Street, Gladbrook, on charges of domestic abuse assault with intent and neglect of a dependent person by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Placed on pre-trial release on Jan. 2 at 10:20 a.m.

Jan. 2

12:43 a.m.- Corey Jay Kerns, 30, Albion, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge of public intoxication by Meskwkai Nation Tribal Police. Released as t 1:10 p.m. after pleading guilty.

5:31 p.m.- Gordon Robert Green, 30, Tama, arrested in the 1400 block of State Street on a warrant for failure to appear by Tama Police. Released on Jan 3 at 9:24 p.m. after posting cash bond.

Juvenile arrested in the 1200 block of T Avenue on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. No other information was provided in the Press Arrest Log.

8:05 p.m.- Leigha Irene Welch, 22, Toledo, arrested in the 100 block of Business Highway 30 East on a charge of 5th degree theft and on a warrant. by Toledo Police. Released at 9:10 p.m.

8:51 p.m.- George Youngbear III, 52, rural Tama, arrested in the 600 block of Springs Road, rural Tama, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 9 at 4:45 p.m. after serving time.

9:15 p.m.- Lauren Kierra Bear, 24, Keshena, Wisc., arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a warrant for failure ot appeart by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 8 at 4:25 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

6:20 p.m.- Jacob Weston Zopf, 31, Garwin, arrested in the 700 block of 1st. Street, Garwin ob a charge of 5th degree theft and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 7:45 p.m. after posting cash bond.
