If you have not signed up for Code Red and you are living in the city limits of Tama, now is the time to get your phones, texting and e-mails registered according to city officials.

The City of Tama joined Code Red in July so if you have not registered your phones since July, 2014, or did not receive a call during the last CodeRED issue on Dec. 5, take a minute to register your phones and e-mail with the Tama County Sheriff’s office Code Red Program.

Go online to: Tama County Sheriff –www.tamacounty.org/sheriff.html -at their website there is a link to the Code Red registration to enter your information.

Or if you do not have access to a computer contact the Tama County Emergency Management office and they will help you sign up. Call 641-484-6261- if there is a recorded answer, please leave your name and phone number and they will call you back.
