Today’s Veterans Day activities include a special flag raising ceremony at the South Tama Elementary School, 1611 Country Club Lane, Tama, at 9:30 a.m.

At 10 a.m., all veterans are encouraged to attend the Veterans Day program at South Tam High School, 1715 Harding, Tama.

The annual Veterans Day program will be presented at 11 a.m. on the Tama County Courthouse Square in downtown Toledo. The program will be at the Legion Club if the weather is inclement.
