Oct. 23

2 a.m.- Steven Donald Geyer, 29, Waterloo, Minn. arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, Tama, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

8:13 a.m.- Lance Eugene Gibson, 24, Toledo, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, for violation of terms of pre-trial release by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Sentenced and released at 4:30 p.m.

2:14 p.m.- Demond Lewis Sheridan, 25, rural Tama, arrested at U.S. Highway 30 and E Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by the Iowa State Patrol. Released on Oct. 24 at 10:40 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Oct. 24

10:10 a.m.- Zachary Elton Mask, 27, Traer, arrested in the 100 block of North Levering Street, Traer, on a charge of domestic abuse assault- impeding blood flow or airway by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.Released at 11 a.m. on Oct. 25 on personal recognizance bond.

6:13 p.m.- Sean Abram Hicks, 28, Toledo, arrested at the Tama County Sheriff”s Office, Toledo, on a warrant by the Sheriff’s Office. Released on Oct. 25 at 11:10 a.m. on unsecured bond.

7:26 p.m.- Berry Arthur Downs, 20, Ames, arrested at the Tama County Jail, Toledo, on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Shipped out on Oct. 31 at 3:39 a.m.
