Sept. 16

9:11 p.m.- Laurie Jean Myers, 46, rural Elberon, arrested in the 3000 block of V Avenue, rural Elberon, on charges of interference with official acts and assault on a peace officer by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Sept. 17 at 10:10 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

9:56 p.m.- Jacob Taylor Emblen, 18, Johnston, Iowa, arrested in the 1500 block of U.S. Highway 30 Expressway on charges of 1st offense drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, purchase / possession of alcohol under age 21 and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Released on Sept. 17 at 10-:35 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

10:25 p.m.- Gabriel Joseph Winders, 36, Garwin, arrested in the 100 block of Walnut Street, Garwin, on charges of 3rd degree sexual abuse, lascivious acts with a child and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Sept. 18 at 5:55 p.m. after posting cash bond.

Sept. 18

8:15 a.m.- Richard John Horton, 32, Des Monies, arrested at the Polk County Jail, Des Moines, on a warrant for failure to appear by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on Oct. 1 at 11:45 a.m. on order of the Court.

10 a.m.- Kim Louise Gjectley, 57, Boone, arrested at the Tama County Courthouse in Toledo on a charge of violation of a no contact / protective order by Toledo Police and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Released at 12:36 p.m. after posting bond with the Clerk of Court’s Office.

8:46 p.m.- Jon Roger McCarty, 49, Bussesy, Iowa, arrested at Business Highway 30 and U.S. Highway 63 junction on charges of 3rd offense drunken driving and impersonating a public official by Toledo Police. Released on Sept. 23 at 2:40 p.m. after posting bond with the Clerk of Court’s Office.

8:50 p.m.- Michael Cheyenne Brezina, 21, rural Traer, arrested at the Tama County Jail in Toledo on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Sept. 19

6:47 a.m.- Ian Francis Bear, 20, Tama, arrested at U.S. Highway 30 and l Avenue on charges of 1st offense drunken driving, possession / purchase of alcohol under the age of 21, driving without a license and no vehicle insurance by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 2 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

3:50 p.m.- Tressa Richelle Voss, 33, Marshalltown, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, on two warrants and on two charges of violation of a no contact / protective order by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Sept. 20 at 9:50 a.m. on unsecured bond.

4:35 p.m.- Maria Socorro Perez, 51, Tama charged at the Clerk of Court’s Office in Toledo on a charge of failure to appear by Toledo Police.

5:41 p.m.- Michael Douglas Hochstetler, 36, Dysart, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear by Dysart Police. Released on Sept. 20 at 9:45 a.m. after pleading guilty.

9:23 p.m.- Cheyanne Rose Merany, 20, Cedar Falls, arrested at Waterloo on a charge of 3rd degree theft and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Placed on pre-trail release on Sept. 20 at 10:10 a.m.

11:32 p.m.- Rex Anthony Pace, 51, Oskaloosa, arrested at U.S. Highway 63 and county Road E29 on chagres of 1st offense drunken driving, open container and driving on the wrong side of the roadway by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Sept. 20

12:15 p.m.- Joseph Erwin Kunch, 27, Des Moines, arrested at U.S. Highway 30 and Tama County I Avenue on charges of 3rd offense drunken driving and driving while license suspended by the Iowa State Patrol. Released on Sept. 21 at 12:15 a.m. on surety bond.

10:54 p.m.- John Richard Luhman, 58, Traer, arrested at 2nd and Mill streets, Traer, on a charge of public intoxication by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Sept. 21 at 11:04 a.m. after pleading guiltly.

Sept. 22

3:14 a.m.- Ira D. Wanatee, 40, rural Montour, arrested in the 100 block of West Village Road on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

Juvenile arrested at 605 Walnut Street by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. No other information was provided in the Press Arrest log.

Sept. 23

1:37 a.m.- Matthew Lee McKeen, 24, Waterloo, arrested at the Black Hawk County Jail, Waterloo, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

4:52 p.m.- Jaylen Celia Sharee Padilla, 24, Toledo arrested in the 1000 block of Prospect drive on charges of assault causing injury- police officer, assault on a peace officer and public intoxication by Toledo Police. Released on Sept. 24 at 10:25 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

9:22 p.m.- Joshua Thomas Warnell, 32, rural Tama, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, on a charge of 1st offense sex offender registration violation and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Sept. 25 at 5:15 p.m. after posting cash bond.
