Each month the officers and Adviser select a member that has actively participated in FFA activities and been a positive role model for fellow FFA members. This member has accumulated the most points during the month of August. She has participated in State Fair, Little Hands on the Farm, and Dairy Foods Contests. The FFA member of the month for August is Haley Shope.

Haley is the daughter of Tod and Stacey Zeman and the late Mike Shope. Her favorite FFA activity is either showing her cattle and sheep or playing in the State FFA band. Shope’s future plan is to attend Iowa State University and major in veterinary medicine. Her advice to other FFA members is to get involved. FFA can take you to far places and opportunities! You don’t have to be in just FFA, you can be in as many clubs/sports you want to be in.
