South Tama Homecoming parade, coronation tonight
South Tama Homecoming 2014 continues with Dress Up Day – “Generation Day” on Thursday, Sept 25, and students voting for King and Queen.
The annual Homecoming parade gets underway at 6:30 p.m. from the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center to Business Highway 30 west near Prospect Drive and proceeds eastward to and then south on S. Broadway and continues on to McClellan Street in Tama, then turns west on 17th to South Tama High School.
The Homecoming King and Queen Coronation is at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Gym.
On Friday, it’s Spirit Day with a Homecoming picnic, pep rally, powederpuff football and volleyball finals – “Clash of the Classes.” at the high school.
The South Tama varsity football team takes on South Hardin on Trojan Field in Toledo on Friday night.
The Homecoming dance will be from 8-11 p..m on Saturday night at the High School Gym.
