On Friday, Aug. 9, STC FFA members journeyed to the Iowa State Fair to volunteer at Little Hands on the Farm, which is a fully interactive ag-experience for kids. FFA members led children through stations doing various Ag chores from harvesting vegetables to milking a cow. Children took their produce from each station and got money for it at the market. They used their money to buy a treat at the grocery store. FFA members taught children ages 2-10 the importance of agriculture in this free exhibit.
