In an effort by some downtown Toledo property owners to spruce up the area the group is hosting a “Downtown Beautification Fundraiser” this Saturday night, Aug. 16, at the Toledo American Legion.

Dance and enjoy the tunes provided by DJ?Chori 2 featuring 50s, 60s and country music from 8 a.m.- midnight.

A cover charge includes the costs of snacks and there will be an open bar.

The group says “Downtown beautification is a community project and asks for support through the dance to “make our community more inviting.”
