Alison Vavra was the recent recipient of the Tama Class of 1954 scholarship award shown being presented by ’54 class member Nellie Morehead. Alison plans to attend Marshalltown Community College, then the University of Iowa for a major as a clinical psychologist. She is the daughter of Jorena and the late David Vavra of Toledo.
