30th annual Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival in Tama

Events continue today with the Tama Firefighters Pancake Breakfast being served from 7- 9:30 a.m. at the Fire station. The 5K Run gets underway at 8 a.m. with the start and finish line at the South Tama Elementary School.

Merriam’s Midway Shows has returned for the 62nd year in Tama sponsored by the Firefighters Association.

The Grand Parade and a host of events, childrens activities and entertainment downtown. There’s a Bean Bag Tournament at the Eagles, Vendor Fair at the Civic Center, Monster Arm Wrestling and more.

The day wraps up with a family movie to be shown at Oak Park on North McClellan Street at 8:30 p.m.
