Three South Tama 7th graders attended the Nutrition Power Summit in Des Moines on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The students attended nutrition breakout sessions, toured and ate lunch at the capital and heard from guest speaker Jared DeVries, former NFL Lions player and Aplington-Parkersburg alum.
