Classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles and antique vehicles are all expected for the annual Tama-Toledo Car Show and Crusie set for next Saturday, Sept. 21, in downtown Tama.

The show opens at 11 a.m. with judging set for 2 p.m.

Awards will be presented at 4 p.m. with the cruise from downtown Tama through downtown Toledo and return to Tama to follow.

There’s a $400 cash prize to the Best of Show winner.

The event is sponsored by the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce.

The show has grown in popularity each year and well over 100 vehicles took part in 2012.

There’s 15 classes this year with a custom-made jacket awarded to the top pick in each class.
