Fall classes get underway with a full day on Monday, Aug. 26 for South Tama school students.

A fall Sports Showcase is set for tonight, Friday, Aug. 23, starting with a volleyball scrimmage beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the high school gym.

A football scrimmage on Trojan Field will follow beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The boys and girls cross country team and cheerleaders will be introduced during the football scrimmage at 7 p.m.

Open houses were held at elementary, middle and high schools for students and parents on Aug. 22.

Meanwhile, classes began on Aug. 14 at the Meskwaki Settlement School.

A Culture and Open House is planned for Aug. 30 from 6-8 p.m.
