P.E.O. Chapter EW Tama met July 9th at the State Bank of Toledo’s Community Room with Karna Smith and Donna Weaver as hostesses. President Karna called the meeting to order and 18 sisters responded to roll call.

There was discussion concerning the upcoming visit on Sept. 10 with past state president Babs Moore. A schedule change was suggested and then approved that will start in September: refreshments will be at 6:30 and the business meeting will begin as usual at 7.

The October meeting will be a joint meeting with Chapter DF Toledo with Chapter EW as hostess. This meeting will be held at the State Bank of Toledo’s Community Room.

After the meeting concluded, President Karna gave a program on the topic of “Membership Begins With Me”.

A delightful rhubarb dessert was served by the hostesses.

The next meeting will be Aug. 13 at 7 at the home of Louise Aiken with Gerri Thomas as co-hostess. The program will be given by Michelle Evans.
