Michelle Yuksa - Ron Hala STC School Board members

South Tama School Board District 1 and 4 positions will be on the Sept, 10 school election ballot. Michele Yuska, Toledo, is the current District 1 director and Ron Hala, rural Toledo, is District 4 director.

Yuska said on July 1 she plans to seek reelection. Hala said he was currently undecided.

Both have served two, four-year terms.

Nomination papers could be obtained beginning Monday, July 8, from Kim Gardner, board secretary, at the STC Administration Building, 1701 Harding, Tama.

Director candidates must live within the boundaries of the district they seek to represent.

All South Tama voters are eligible to cast ballots for each director position.

The deadline to file is Aug. 1. School board seats are for four-year terms.
