Montour Breakfast club meets

Wednesday morning the Montour Breakfast Club met at the Big-T Maid-Rite in Toledo with twenty six members present, the oldest person being Dale Slingluff at the age of 98.

There were people present from California, Arkansas and Missouri, as well as Iowa towns of Cedar Rapids, Laurel, Chelsea, Tama, Toledo, Traer, Marshalltown, LeGrand, Garwin and Montour.

The 1948 Montour High School Graduating Class had five members present. This was the total number of classmates still alive and all were present.

Those in the class of 1948 were Richard Frundle and Robert McCoy of Montour, Faye Harrah Berger of Traer, Winifred Cooper Morgan of Arkansas and Shirley McCoy Bloom of Laurel.

This group meets the first Wednesday morning of each month at the Big-T at 8:30 a.m. and always welcomes anyone from Montour or anyone interested in this group.

The group has been meeting since the year 2000, and still brings in good crowds.
