The inaugural Toledo Stoplight Festival Lawnmower – Golf Cart – Tractor Parade sponsored by Marshalltown Community College and the 22nd and the 22nd annual Harry Gardner-Toledo 5K Run-Walk are tonight, July 3.

The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and will begin at the South Tama Middle School at S. Green and E. Carleton and travel down High street through downtown. No-pre-entry is required for either event.

The parade line-up starts at 5 p.m. at the Middle School.

The 5K Run-Walk registration will be on the Tama County Courthouse Square.

The Stoplight Festival starts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5, led off by the Meskwaki Singers. Four bands follow on the bandstand with the Toledo Farmers Market and Tama-Toledo Chamber BBQ Cook-Off and kids activities.
