South Tama Prom set for Saturday

A lucky South Tama High School student attending the After Prom Party will win this great car. South Tama High School students attending Prom will experience a French-inspired theme of “An Evening in Paris.” The event is this Saturday night, April 20, with events at the Wieting Theatre, Reinig-Toledo Civic Center and the STC?High School according to Marlys Upah, coordinator for the event.

Festivities get underway at 7:30 p.m. with the Grand March at the Wieting featuring Prom attendees in their finery.

The Prom King and Queen will be crowned at the Wieting as the finale to the March.

Door open at 6:30 p.m. at the theatre and the event is open to the public.

The dance at the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center starts at 9 p.m. DJ?Salt and Pepper – Eric Haughey – will provide the music.

The evening continues with the annual After Prom Party at the high school which begins at 12:30 a.m. Area businesses and professional persons have provided great prizes and lots of games and entertainment will be featured.
