March 17

11:14 a.m.- Gerald Reese Morgan, 23, rural Tama, arrested in the 1700 block of G Avenue on charges of interference with official acts-weapons or firearm, 2nd offense possession of marijuana, carrying weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia and three warrants for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

1 p.m.- Jeffrey John Stoneking, 33, Traer, arrested in the 400 block of 3rd Street, Traer, on a charge of 3rd degree burglary and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on March 19 at 12:30 p.m. after posting bond to the Clerk of the District Court.

1:04 p.m.- Ian Niles Kapayou, 22, rural Tama, arrested in the 1800 block of Tama County Road E49 on a charge of consumption in public/intoxication by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on March 18 at 10:40 a.m. after pleading guilty.

3 p.m.- Rhonda Jean Himschoot, 40, Traer, arrested in the 600 block of North Street on a charge of neglect of a dependent person and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

March 18

3:05 a.m.- Alexander Joseph Dvorak, 22, Garwin, arrested in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 63 on a charge of 1st offense drunken driving by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 12:57 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.
