Tama County Jail Bookings & Arrests

Jan. 18

3:05 a.m.- Mike Earl Miller, 37, Elk Run Heights, arrested at 2nd and Walnut streets on charges of driving while license suspended and violation of financial responsibility by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 10:50 a.m. on unsecured bond.

10:50 a.m.- Heather Marie Springer, 36, Marshalltown, arrested at the Marshall County Jail on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 19 at 2:15 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

11:15 a.m.- Tyrus Raymond Wanatee, 28, addresses of rural Tama and Toledo, arrested at the Meskwaki Casino for Tribal Court by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 8:45 p.m. on Tribal surety bond.

Jan. 20

9:45 a.m.- Eric Ryan Kapayou, 40, rural Tama, arrested at the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree theft and on a warrant by Toledo Police. Released at 12:10 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

10 a.m.- 16-year-old male arrested at South Tama High School on a charge of possession of a controlled substance by Tama Police.

Jan. 22

4:16 a.m.- Brian Gregory Holland, arrested at the junctions of U.S. Highways 30 and 63 on a warrant for failure to appear by Toledo Police. Transferred on Jan. 23 at 10:25 a.m.

3:22 p.m.- 13-year-old female arrested at the Iowa Juvenile Home / State Training School for Girls on a charge of assault on a peace officer / jailer / health care worker by Toledo Police.

7:30 p.m.- 16-year-old male arrested at the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 3rd degree burglary, forgery and 5th degree theft by the Sheriff’s

Office.
