Jan. 9

2:45 p.m.- Theron Dale Garcia, 18, Toledo, arrested at the Department of Correctional Services Office in Toledo on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Placed on pre-trial release on Jan. 12 at 2:15 p.m.

4:30 p.m.- Lonnie Douglas Poweshiek, 44, rural Montour, arrested in the 200 block of Northwood Drive for Tribal Court by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

Jan. 10

3:30 a.m.- Jesse Dean Samec, 19, Traer, arrested in the 600 block of 5th Street, Traer, on charges of interference with official acts, false report to law enforcement, driving while license suspended, failure to sue headlights, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and two counts of failure to obey a stop sign by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 1:05 p.m. after pleading guilty.

12:35 p.m.- Miguel Angel Salgado, 19, Tama, arrested in the 500 block of Wilson Street on a charge of 2nd degree burglary and on a warrant by Toledo Police.

7:06 p.m.- Trevor Davis Wright, 21, Nashua, arrested at the Black Hawk County Jail in Waterloo on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Placed on pre-trial release on Jan. 12 at 4:45 p.m.
