8:03 a.m.- David Lloyd Morgan, 56, Tama, arrested in the 1600 block of 340th Street on charges of 2nd offense drunken driving and open container in a motor vehicle by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on personal recognizance bond on Dec. 31 at 10:13 a.m.

10 a.m.- Ty Erin Bear, 37, rural Tama, arrested in the 300 block of Red Earth Drive for Tribal Court by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 8:40 p.m. on Tribal surety bond.

5:35 p.m.- 16-year-old female arrested at the Iowa Juvenile home – State Training School for Girls in Toledo on a charge of assault on a police officer – jailer – health care worker by Toledo Police.

Dec. 31

12:29 a.m.- Michael Jacob Niewahner, 64, Toledo, arrested in the 200 block of North West Street on a charge of simple domestic abuse assault by Toledo Police. Released at 10:48 a.m. on unsecured bond.

10:22 p.m.- Richard Alexander Diaz, 22, Dysart, arrested in the 400 block of Tama Street, Dysart, on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication and disorderly conduct by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 1 at 12:15 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Jan. 1

1:45 a.m.- Dale Roger Buffalo, 43, Toledo, arrested at Church and High streets on a charge of public intoxication by Toledo Police. Released at 6:15 p.m. after pleading guilty.
