DES MOINES- Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) has announced his aide, Tom Larkin, will visit Tama County, Wednesday Aug. 31, to host a “listening post” for local residents. The event is part of a state-wide summer tour Harkin staff is hosting to hear directly from Iowans on how the economy is impacting families across the state.

Larkin will meet with Toledo City and Tama County officials and the public from 1-2 p.m. at the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center, 1107 Prospect Dr.
